La-Z-Boy Bradley Faux Leather Executive Chair : awesome chair. by far the best one ive sat

Comfortable, classy, slim profile.

We had a bit of trouble assembling arm rests, but it was not hard.

Bought this chair at staples for $229 to replace a more expensive chair that was peeling after 6 years of daily use in my office. Sat in every chair they had. Compared notes with another customer. The bradley was by far the most comfortable. Threw it in the truck and went back to the office. Had it assembled in 30 minutes. Fit and finish was what i expected from la-z-boy. I do client interviews, read and write and pivot to work at my computer all day with no problem. You could get a few more adjustments (that you wouldn’t use) and you could pay more; but you couldn’t do much better than this chair.

Comfortable, looks great and matches with the rest of my home office. Easy to assemble, just follow the directions.

By far the best one ive sat on comparing to most chairs im stapkes.

La-Z-Boy Bradley Faux Leather Executive Chair, Black : (bought at staples for two hundred)i was looking for a super comfy chair with over-stuffed padding and this la-z-boy fits the bill. It is unbelievably comfortable, almost like the feel of a recliner at your desk. The lumbar support and entire back area is fantastic. The bottom seat is super thick the armrests have nice thick padding too. The seat tilts back (has lockout for that too) and raises pretty high so it’s great for taller people (perhaps a bit tall for shorter folks). It looks fantastic and is extremely high quality. Has a nice little chrome “la-z-boy” headrest ornament on the rear. It does have “bonded” leather though so that will likely peel over time though it currently looks and feels wonderful. I don’t care about the longevity as the main concern was comfort now and real leather costs at least 3x as much. I figure i’ll get a good 5 years out of it, maybe more.

Horrible design very uncomfortable cheap garbage. Ive owned it for under a year and all the seat seams have come apart. My back is extremely sore sitting in it. Stapes wont take it back and i cant afford a new one.

  2. 1.0 out of 5 stars Sorry I bought it..
The height adjustment stopped working after about a year. The “leather” is peeling off. This was bought for my home office in a part time winter home. I bought this chair because i thought lazy boy meant quality. I’m embarrassed to have such junk in my house.

      • 2.0 out of 5 stars Great materials, bad design. Not a good office chair
After assembly, the back of the chair was not level, not even close. It was off by at least 2 inches. After inspecting the chair, turns out the bottom bracket that connects the seat to the main post was machined improperly. So the chair looks ridiculous and you can feel that it is not level. While the chair seems to be made of quality materials, the design is just not comfortable for office use. There is no lumbar support, and the cushion at the top of the chair causes you to hunch over. There is no way i can be in this chair for more than an hour working.

Liked the design of the chair, it is very comfortable except for the fact that the quality of manufacture undermines this. After assembly and sitting in the chair, i found the seatback is both tilted and skewed to the left. The root problem is the bracket which fastens the seat and back. It was incorrectly installed at the factory and is not straight with the vertical axis of the seatback. There is no means to adjust this since the seatback end of the bracket is not accessible. Just a cosmetic detail, but the la-z-boy logo was sloppily installed on the seat back, also, with a very pronounced twist to the right and off-center. The chair is manufactured under license from lzb by lf products pte ltd, a chinese company. Evidently la-z-boy does not verify or audit the quality of the merchandise manufactured under its label. This is unfortunate since i own other lzb products but will be cautious of them in the future. Pity: well designed chair and, for the most part, manufactured well – except for one of the most critical components.
